LodgeNet Interactive Corp. (PINK:LNET) shares gained 57.89% to $0.0300. The company, on Jan. 16, announced that Rich Battista will depart as President, CEO and director of the Company as of January 16, 2013. Frank Elsenbast, the Company’s CFO, and James Naro, the Company’s General Counsel, have been appointed interim co-CEOs. During his tenure, Battista successfully guided LodgeNet through a strategic review process that recently concluded with the announced $60 million recapitalization plan with an investor syndicate led by Colony Capital.

Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREE) shares climbed 22.05% and closed at $40.85 after the company posted second quarter net income of $20.40 million or $0.18 per share, higher than $12.08 million or $0.10 per share in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $36.88 million or $0.32 per share, as compared to $28.67 million or $0.25 per share in the year-ago quarter. Net revenues grew 14% to $346.29 million from $304.12 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts expected earnings of $0.30 per on revenue of $331.20 million.

Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:THLD) shares increased 19.26% to $5.14 in yesterday’s session. Analysts at Piper Jaffray started coverage on shares of Threshold in a research report issued to clients and investors on Jan. 17. The firm set a “neutral” rating on the stock.
The company last announced its earnings results on Friday, November 2nd. The company reported ($0.06) earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, meeting the consensus estimate of ($0.06). The company had revenue of $1.80 million for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.29 million.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) shares gained 18.63% to $12.48. The company announced second quarter fiscal 2013 financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2012. Net sales for the second quarter ended December 31, 2012 totaled $291.5 million, up 7.7% from $270.7 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2013. Net income for the second quarter of fiscal year 2013 was $4.9 million or $0.11 per diluted share, a decrease of 44.0% from the net income of $8.8 million, or $0.20 per diluted share in the same period a year ago.
