NetEase, Inc (ADR)(NASDAQ:NTES) shares jumped 2.13% and closed at $56.14 in the last trading session. Netease.com shares was upgraded by research analysts at Nomura from a “reduce” rating to a “neutral” rating in a report released on Sept. 19.
Additionally, the company last issued its quarterly earnings data on August 15. The company reported $1.05 earnings per share for the quarter, missing the analysts’ consensus estimate of $1.08 by $0.03. The company’s revenue for the quarter was up 12.7% on a year-over-year basis.

Baidu.com, Inc. (ADR)(NASDAQ:BIDU) shares jumped 2% and closed at $116.89 in the last trading session. Baidu.com stock had its price target lowered by ThinkEquity from $180.00 to $150.00 in a research note released on Sept. 26. They currently have a buy rating on the stock. Separately, analysts at Deutsche Bank reiterated a hold rating on shares of Baidu.com in a research note to investors on September 18.

Netflix, Inc.(NASDAQ:NFLX) shares dropped 2% and closed at $54.44 in the previous trading session. Macquarie started covering NFLX with an “underperform” rating on Sept. 17. Macquarie research analyst Tim Nollen put a $50 price target on the stock because media companies hold the upper hand. Nollen also cited weak subscriber growth, which is “trending below guidance” and the high cost of international expansion as reasons for the rating.
